problem reading package header

Hi there --

I am trying to install Fedora Core 12 onto one of our servers, and am unable to do so. This occurs whether I use a DVD or Net installation.

When I get to the point where the install program is reading the package information, the following error message appears on-screen:

Quote:
Problem reading package header.
The server that I am trying to do the installation onto is a Dell R300 system. The two hard drives within the server are configured as a RAID 1 Dell Virtual drive.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is occurring, and how I can correct it? Thanks.

Have you verified the checksums for the media you downloaded ?
