Nvidia drivers

I tried installing the nvidia drivers, now I get a blank screen. I used the rescue drive to modify the xorg.conf file back to how it was, but i still get blank screens. Is there any way to go back to the old way?

I haven't heard of an xorg.conf file in relation to nvidia drivers..

Did you read the readme at the nvidia download page and modify your /etc/X11/XF86Config file accordingly.

In Fedora core 2 there is no XF86Conf file, it has changed to xorg.conf

Nevermind, I was smart and backed up xorg.conf before I installed the driver. I simply replaced it and got X working again.

Thanks!

Did you get your nVidia card working without recompiling your kernel? Or are you just settling for a non-functional card? I'm really not wanting to recompile anything.
