NEED help configuring ftp server

I have setup the v=server just cannot access the ftp from the outside world. It is behind a linksys router and have gave access through the router to the ftp ports. still cannot access can someone help me?

There's two things you have to do to your router to enable access to a service on a machine inside:
  • Open the appropriate port on your firewall (for FTP, usually 21).
  • Forward that port to the IP address of your FTP server.

Have you done both of those?

What's the external IP address of your ftp server? I'll check from here and make sure the port is actually open.
