ndiswrapper installed, drivers installed, what now?


I have it all installed properly. It says hardware and drivers are present. How do I turn the card on and configure it. *baffled*

# modprobe ndiswrapper
# iwconfig
# iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed
# iwconfig wlan0 key ur_key_here open or restricted (only if u have a wep)
# iwconfig wlan0 essid ur_essid
# ndiswrapper -m
(if ur device is wlan0 )
then go to system settings and network and add a new wireless network pick the ndiswrapper one finish save the settings when ur done

# dhclient wlan0

should work post your output
