MP3 Players

Does anyone have mp3 players interfacing with their linux boxes?? I was thinking of getting a creative or ipod player for the gym.

A quick search of the HCL has turned up the following:

MP3 player watch

Muro mp3 player

Archos 5Gb mp3 player

MSI Mp3 player

I suggest you use www.google.com/linux to look for the compatibility of the specific drive you have questions about. As a general rule all mp3 players are usb mass storage devices and as such work perfectly well under linux.

I have an old Iriver IFP flash based one (512 RAM), it has some crappy interface layer so it can't be mounted as a standard device, i have to use drivers (Linux ones available-although developed by the community)

I couldn't get the GUI working but the CLI works fine, well the format option lost have the space but ohwell

Creative Zen Micro 5Gb working fine using Gnomad 2 from extras on FC3 and 4.

(Unless you use the Creative/Microsoft Plays For Sure DRM firmware of course)
