All it says is fedora core release 3 but i know for a fact i have Gnome 2.6

so... i am gussing i have 2.8 already... the thing is it doesn't look like the 2.8 file browser interface for some odd reason... mabey I just need to mess with the settings ^^.

Ok well thats that thanks for all your help win32sucks .

Now for a new problem all togather . Getting the printers on the network to work. Fiddled with the thing for 2 days now and havent gotten anything to print correctly. I was trying to use the CUPS but i must be entering the stuff in wrong. 2 of the printers are on Windows XP pcs and the other is on a Windows 2003 small business server. tried a variety of different things and nothing worked. Any suggestions for a noob .
