Last FC8 update problems

It seems the last update which included the kernel has caused problems. It seemed strange during the update that for some reason the dependencies for nVidia were removed. Now during bootup several error messages occur regarding the nVidia driver. Also, on startup the updater gives an error message such as "Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify its path and try again".

Any ideas anyone.

There are 2 issues:

1. The Nvidia driver packager (Livna) are not yet ready for newer kernels:

2. There seems to be some problem with the Fedora repositories:

Basically you will have to wait till this all gets resolved.
