Its in the detail!
Hi all
Just a quick note. Ive been trying ti install Fedora Core 3 for the past few days wihout much luck.
My system is a multi-boot with win98, winME, Mandrake 10.0, and Slackware 10. I have been trying to add Fedora to this list on a new harddrive I have just installed, but nothing seemed to work. I am using Mandrake to boot the other systems and they all work ok but Fedora just wouldn't work.
I have installed it and reinstalled it about 4 times over the last few days.
Finally this evening whilst looking at /etc/fstab in Mandrake I saw the problem. I am mounting it at /mnt/FedCore, but in fstab I had written /mnt/fedcore. small c instead of capital C!!
So finally I have Fedora up and running.
It just shows, somtimes we see what we expect to see and not what is written.
