Install kernel sources?

I'm new to Linux, but not not new to Unix. I am installing some hardware whose driver installation documentation says that I must have the kernel sources installed on my system.

I installed from the DVD ISO image, which did not come with source RPMs. What is the proper and easiest way for me to install the kernel sources on my system? Keep in mind that I am new to Fedora / Red Hat, so I would appreciate specificity.

rpm -q kernel-source

It's not actually a .src.rpm. It's an rpm that says "kernel-source-whatever.i386.rpm". It's a binary source install.
Use your package managers search option to find it.

Or you can download a kernel source from www.kernel.org and unpack that. Search for a tutorial on how to recompile a kernel from DrOzz. It is quite simple and it will get you in a right direction.
