Grub Configuration

Using Fed Core 2 on a box with 2 hard drives - 1 windows XP and the other linux.

I thought that during installation I set Grub up to read the windows partition on the second HD, but when I try and use this the boot up hangs all the time.

How do I remove this configuration from Grub and try and reconfigure to read the windows partition on the second drive ?

Do you have a /boot/grub/menu.lst file? If you do could you post it here?

Its just dawned on me that my other drive is SATA therefore I'm guessing that the reference should not not be hda1, but rather sda1.

See, it was my stupidity !
