GDM configure a default desktop

How do I configure GDM to start a certain desktop (say XFCE) by default? I'm thinking lines could be added to /etc/gdm/custom.conf

I think I figured it out from a live FC10 cd. It had a script called /etc/sysconfig/destop that just had this:

PREFERRED=/usr/bin/startxfce4

I'll try this when I get to my Linux box later.

got it-edit this in /etc/sysconfig/desktop:

DISPLAYMANAGER=GNOME

and change to:

DISPLAYMANAGER=XFCE4
