Fedora Packet manager

I'm new at Fedora and I'm used to use Debian's dselect, where you can select every package. Is there in Fedora core 2 any packet manager that let you select or search a single package (not a group)?

If you use apt-get for rpm from fedora.us or freshrpms, you can install synaptic, a graphical package selector you may be familiar with from Debian. There's also yumi for yum, though I haven't tried it; a lot of people prefer yum for Fedora, though the first download of headers takes a while. I just ls or grep /var/cache/yum/foo-repository/headers and take a look at what's there. :-)
