Fedora does'nt start after installation


hi to all!!

excuse me for my bad english, but it's my first time i write english...

i have installed fedora core 1 updating red hat 7.3 that was on my notebook, after the installation i have reboted my system and it block displaing this message:

Starting pcmcia: Yenta IRG list 0218, PCI irq10
Socket status 30000006

and then blocks!!

somebody can help me?? I need to reinstall??

Sounds like the upgrade didn't work properly. Some people have tried it but have had mixed results. I hope you backed up your info. Good luck!
