Fedora Core 2 - PHP Problem

I'm pretty new to this and really don't have a clue what to do. My computer shows an exclamation mark in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop. There is an update the system thinks it needs. It is php-4.3.4-11. Linux thinks that php-4.3.10-2.4: is installed and that php-4.3.8-21 is available (doesn't seem right). After launching an update I see testing "package set/solving rpm interdependencies". Then failure - added php-mbstring version 4.3.10 release 2.4
added php-ldap ver. 4.3.10 rel. 2.4 package php-ldap-4.3.10-24 already installed.
If anyone can make sense out of this I would really appreciate it.

Do you actually serve out webpages using PHP or even code in PHP? If not, skip this package, you don't need it.

Re: Fedora Core 2 - PHP Problem

Trickeykid,
Thanks for your response. No I'm really not doing anything with PHP so I don't need the package. I would like to be able to get rid of the blinking exclamation point though. If I don't need the download how can I tell the system that I don't need it?

Thanks again.
