Fedora 6 not finding track pad on ibookG4

Ive had alot of trouble with this before, debian and ubuntu never had it working yet with out a hack on the config that crashes things. Ive just come from slackintosh, which being a could port of a good distro had my mouse working fine.

The problem is that the mouse is integral to the install, how am i meant to use a stupid gui partitioner without a mouse, any way editing a fix would be helpful, hopefully theres some way around this because to be honest the fedora documentation sucks.

Anyway the questions is in the title the rest is mostly a rant because after two and a half hours burning the disks, the installer cant be used and i cant install from hd because the boot image doesnt exist. Sorry for the ranting long day

okay, i found that the trackpad driver isnt initallised during the install, only after buying a usb mouse.

Anaconda is feeling like beta software though, theres seems to be no way to escape from an install apart from the last stage. It also cannot manage if you do no have the next cd. I only have two around and i dont feel like building up from a minimal install.

Could someone maybe tell me how i get a net install to work? anaconda just asks for the cd's to be put in, cant see a way to get this going. Anyone know how i can do this?
