Fedora 30 software centre error reading

I just installed Fedora 30 xfce and have tried lxde. Both give and error reading as I went to install programs in Fedora on this old 32 bit laptop. Is there an answer? Here is a screenshot from xfce...

It could be as simpke as updating from the command line rather than the GUI? What did your Red Hat support representetive tell you?

I believe that happens when a background updater is already running when a manual update is attempted.
Yes, running the update from the command line is a workaround that usually works for me, but I use yum on CentOS, so am not familiar with the dnf command.

Try man dnf for help.
