FC2 Vs. RH9

I've been trying to convince my friend that he should upgrade from RH9 to FC2. I've told him that with the new kernel it would be faster. and graphically FC2 looks better than RH9.

but that isn't enough to get him to switch.

he wants to know what else makes it better. And I dont know what to tell him.

From what I can tell, newer updated packages.. if he doesn't want to go thru the hassle of reinstalling to Fedora.. he can simply just update packages he mainly uses and that had/have security related updates. And he can recompile a new kernel if he wanted without upgrading to Fedora.. I'm kind of on his side.. if it works and works for him, why change it?

Well for one RH9 was EOL'd so nothing new comes from RH
