FC2: Can't burn an iso to disc!

Alrite I've seen many threads and tutorials on this and they seem to be missing something, as I can not get my CD-R/W to be recoginzed by a program capable of burning iso's!

Here are my command readouts:

ALSO: I am able to use the generic burning rom that pops up when I stick a blank CD in the drive, but that program doesn't have an option to "make disk from image/iso", or something similiar.

For those with curiosity I'm trying to burn the Knoppix ISO.

Incredible...

So I did the ide-scsi thing in my grub and it didn't help at all, so I put it back to it's original state. WOILA! XCDROAST now sees my drive.

That is absolutely whack! Too funny. I wonder what it was?
