Empathy


ok i installed empathy because i came to know that in empathy i can have voice chat in google !! ok the voice symbol appears next to the person online when i click .. i cant hear the other person speaking and neither can the other guy
but then the call goes to him !!! he says he accepted .. but then both of us cant hear us ??wats the problem ??
do i need to download some other library files or something??

To check if you are short of libraries, run

ldd <executable name> |grep found

If you need libraries, that will show you.

could u cite an example cos when i try
ldd empathy |grep found i get
ldd: ./empathy: No such file or directory

He meant use the full path to empathy... but you could try this if you don't know how to find it, if it's in your path it should work.

ldd `which empathy` | grep -i found

or to see more stuff...

ldd `which empathy`
