Empathy - Aim Support

I recently installed Empathy on my Debian Testing box and by default it only supports jabber, google talk, and salut. Does anybody know how I can add the aim protocol?

all you need to do is go in and install the telepathy plug in for aim, if you apt-cache search or look in synaptic there are a ton of them.

The only issue is I can't get it to work with AIM. I fill in the fields but it doesn't remember my screen name from one side of the window to another. I know that explanation sucks but I really can't give you any better one
