adding second processor

Hi guys,

I have a machine runnig FC3, with single processor. If I want to add second processor, what are the things I need to do for the kernel to detect and enable smp?

I apologize if this question has been asked (I tried to to search but can't find similiar threads).

Thanks for any help

if it's a custom kernel, then in your config add Symmetric multi-processing support.

If it's a stock kernel from your distro provider... get the smp version.
