xv video driver dont work (debian UNSTABLE)

hi there

2 months ago i updated my system from stable to unstable and everything was cool. but i updated it again (3 days ago) and xv extension won't work for me

xshm runs, but the picture is not as cool as with xv and it loads cpu heavily.
i tried another palyers (mplayer, totem, vlc) but the result is the same in all of them: blue screen...

after my first update it was working. but it was different version of xorg, the 6.8

is there any possibility how to get xv working again? or how can i downgrade the xorg to prev. version (6.8) ?

currently running:
xorg 6.9
kde 3.5

system:
amd 1800xp
640 mb ram
ati radeon 8500

thank you!

Hi,

I had encountered a simlilar problem. After some checking, I found it is due to I use a wrong video driver: my video card is i810, but I used another one in my xorg.conf.

hi
i tried to change the video driver too, but with no effect. the only two drivers are working for me are "ati" and "radeon" but its always the same .. blue picture instead of the movie
i also tried to disable/enable some options in xorg.conf (such as dri, .. ). gues what? nothing.
i really dont know whats the problem

i think the only way how to solve it is to downgrade to prev version of xorg 'cause it was ok in this.
