After Installing Driver Programms dont work

Hi, I´m a linux newbie. Yesterday I installed Americas Army (it´s a game). It runed good but when I started a Training Mission it only said "Loading" but nothing happend. So I installed the Driver for my ATI Radeon 9000. After installing that driver Opera and Americas Army dont open anymore!! And when I open Americas Army via a Terminal it says: History: Exiting due to error
So what do I have to do?? And anyone knows how I can play Americas Army. Do I also have to create an Account and register when I play the Training missions??
Thanks!
FvH
RedHat Linux 9 Kernel 2.4 ATI Radeon 9000 Americas Army 1.9
