i am using an updated version of Debian GNU/Linux Squeeze and i just downloaded and installed tunapie from the software depositories but it doesn't work i tried to run it from a terminal and this is what it came out with
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/tunapie/Tunapie.py", line 23, in <module>
import wxversion
ImportError: No module named wxversion
I would first make sure that "python-wxversion" is installed: http://duckduckgo.com/?q=ImportError...amed+wxversion
If it is i would:
pydoc wxversion
and check how it gets imported in 2.7. Then i would try to edit /usr/share/tunapie/Tunapie.py.
That is rather a shot in the dark (aka: what i would do).
PS: tunapie works fine for me, but i use python from the repos.
apt-cache policy python
python:
Installed: 2.6.6-14
Candidate: 2.6.6-14
Version table:
*** 2.6.6-14 0
500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sid/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
$
I originally found it here: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.p...tuner2#p307429
at that time it was not in the repos, i tested it, but i try to avoid too much non-repo apps. Just installed it and yes, seems to work very well. Very good. Thanks again, good hint.
well all i am doing is downloading the .pls file for the shoutcast stations and importing them into rhythm box it's working out great I'm getting comedypipe no problems even the title bar works
