Something wrong with the main Debian Apt repos today?


ive been unable to get a good connection to them today, keeps getting stuck on trying to connect to them. Is ti just me, or is the issue on there end?

Cool turns it was some weirdness with the synaptic automatic package manager keeping some file locked, instead of dropping it when you run a command line updater like aptitude like it usually does . (and the synaptic updater wouldnt update till i closed the root terminal window that i tried updating aptitude on strangely enough, even though the process ended. maybe it was just a coincidence and it was just still in use, i diddnt wait too long :P

oh i just did apt-get install somefileiwanted and that worked great i didnt try an update

edit im also using ftp.debian not us.ftp.debian or w/e it is
