smbfs permission errors from winxp

I want to map my linux machine as a network drive on all my home computers. I enter my login and password and sure enough it loads up showing my home dir, printers and whatnot.

I am running debian on powerpc mac 7500.

I can see and read everything but I cant seem to have any permissions on it. I cant upload, move files or change names or delete.

I am kind of new and tried googleing this provblem but no results. Any ideas?
