Question nv driver problem

use "nv" driver in XF86config-4
when I startx, then switch back(or exit XWindow) to console, the console screen flicker (sometimes the screen shift down) .
I change driver from "nv" to "vesa" ,then startx again, then the console screen switch back to the original state. Now,everything well.

I'm using debian in my notebook.
my graphic card: nvidia geforce2 go

i'm not sure about this, but I *think* that some nvidia cards use the "nv" driver and others use the "vesa" driver. I have a nVidia GeFroce 6800GT and the nv option won't even work for me (ie startx can't find any screens). The vesa driver works fine though. So I think you can use vesa with no worries.
