Hi, I live in Bangaldesh and the internet I get here is really really poor. I download files around 2kpbs via lan. Its even worse than the dialup of the west. Any way a local cellphone company recently launched a product which looked rather promising. I even used it on a friend's computer and I could download files at 15kpbs. The problem is the product comes with only windows support and I was wondering if debian had any drivers for this or if it's useable in linux at all. It is a USB cdma modem. This is the link to the product http://www.huawei.com/mobileweb/en/p...view.do?id=282
Will I need to add any modules to my 2.6.16-2 amd64 smp kernel? or will it work automatically. I break my system a lot and if it worked automatially during a fresh debian installation that would be great.
