looking for a list of what Debian-based distros don't use systemd
Seeing such a list before I download and use the distro would save time. I have found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catego...ithout_systemd, but it does not divide by distro family. I stay within the Debian family and am not interested in the non-Debian distros.
The Debian-based distros that I already know avoid systemd are MX and Devuan.
Distrowatch Search provides the necessary options to answer this question.
Thanks, I didn't know how to use that.
Had to note that the information produced by the search can be misleading. It says MX uses systemd, and doesn't mention that MX doesn't use systemd by default. The default is sysvinit. I understand why: it's because the search is for what packages the distro has.
