Knoppix!

1-I can't find knoppix Maxi Edition (DVD).
2-Is knoppix Maxi Edition (DVD) is for free?
3-I don't have a DVD-R, can I use it after downloading it?
4-Can it be installed?

1) Yes, but apparently they are updating the servers, so be patient.
2) Yes, like al GNU/GPL software.
3) If you don't have a DVD writer, why would you want to d/l a DVD version? You *can* use DVD+R discs as well.
4) Yes.

I suggest reading the README file, the cheatcode-file and use Google to find HOWTO's and user experiences. It's all out there [on the net], it just requires some more effort on your part

Just my two pennyworth, but having used a hard drive install of Knoppix there are easier distros to install and configure for a newbie! Ubuntu is highly regarded in this respect and is also based off Debian. BTW, Knoppix is a superb live distro!

Yeah I'm using Xubuntu. It's perfect for my PIII 450 MHz/128MB RAM/ 8 Gb HD computer.

But I wanna try various distro!!

Cheatcodes are wonderful!! I didn't know about them !!
