Kernal header files location finding installing

Hi
I need to know the commands that will identify my kernal and the location of my headers, I believe they are not install iam running Debian Stretch.
I hve added the repo for sid though to upgrade mesa versioins.

apt-cache search linux-headers

As root is rather lengthy and I dont want to spam the forum with that output.

This is all necessary to install vmware player or virtual box.

Help plz.
