use cdrecord to do the data copying for you

run K3b......go to settings...........click on 'K3b Setup'............enter root passwd...........do the change

dvd-r ... linux and my hardware

I can't use my pioneer dvd-rom as reader to make copies or make images of a dvd-r media.
BUT I can do it with my pioneer dvd-writer.
Probably this is a hardware problem of dvd-rom because I noticed strange bevavour under MS Windows
I don't know.

How to make a test of my pioneer dvd-rom?
