Hi all,
I am trying to get wifi working on my laptop. More precisely, I'm trying to make it work again as two weeks ago it was up and running. Lately, I had to update my kernel. Now, for some weird reason, synaptic doesn't find the package ipw2100-source. Here's the output of apt-get:
Code:
lixy:/home/lixy# sudo apt-get install ipw2100-source
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package ipw2100-source is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package ipw2100-source has no installation candidate
I thought the package was not available anymore, but Mr. Ley
seems to be maintaining the package.
I know I could compile it from source, but I really wanna stick with the Debian way.
Any hints?
Thanks,
