Installing nVidia Drivers

I have a Geforce 4 mx 440 64mb card on my PC, but when I run the installer from the official site, it says it can't find any kernel interfaces, then tries to download them off the ftp, fails, and fails again while trying to compile them itself. I tried apt-getting the source for my kernel, and it still can't ffind it.

What do I have to download/do to make it work?

you need the kernel headers...

at root do the following:

Code:
apt-get install kernel-headers-$(uname -r)
now run the installer and dont forget to modify your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
