Question How to remove lilo from MBR safely?

I am running a dual-boot system (win98 and Debian).
Two physical harddisks.
Debian installed lilo in MBR on hd0(win).

Now I want to unplug the Debian disk and use it on another machine.
But win can not start without lilo.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot.

Use your windows 98 boot disk and when booted to the dos prompt fdisk /mbr.
