Etch boot and second drive install questions

I recently tried to install etch by netinstall. When I got the end and it asked if I wanted to install to the MBR I said "yes" since I thought that's where the bootloader would put itself. Things ended up crashing badly, though it may have been a problem with the HD rather than etch.

Anyway, Win is re-installed and before I tried again I wanted to see if I should say yes to the MBR question on a dual-boot system or say no and hope for another option.

My second, and possibly related question, is whether there are any recommendations for installing etch on its own second SATA drive as part of a dual-boot system with WIN on the first drive.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi,

If I remember correct, "No" to grab will lead me to main menu, where I can select several options including lilo. Then question about MBR or some other place comes after this. Depending on your skill, you can choose whatever you want.

Happy Penguins!
