bootlogdbootlogd: cannot find console device

hi

During the start up I'm getting the following Error on my Lenny server:

Starting boot logger: bootlogd failed!

Code:
# /etc/init.d/bootlogd restart
Stopping boot logger: bootlogd.
Starting boot logger: bootlogdbootlogd: cannot find console device 136:1 in /dev
 failed!
# bootlogd -r -c
bootlogd: cannot find console device 136:0 in /dev
I've tried to reinstall sysvinit, but it doesn't help.

If bootlogd is started after udev during boot, you could try renaming the /etc/rcS.d/S*bootlog to run before udev. An (old) solution from this LQ thread
