It seems to work fine for a bit then slows down and I get the "waiting for.." when page loads up.It just sets there forever. I was on stable and thought testing might work better but not so. I have googled it and have seen same issues but they were posted like 2009-2011. Is there a bug in the Linux ATH5K driver??Im currently using XFCe with WicD but under stable i was using Gnome and its network manager.
Right now wireless is pretty much useless. Tried different browser.Iceweasel,chrome..same issue.
Works fine under windows. router is in same room like 6-7 feet away and Wicd shows signal strength at high 90's to 100%.

It maybe that your Debian install/router does not do IPV6 very well and would be better disabled (assuming your ISP uses IPV4 which most do). Look at this page for details.
