apt sources.list by IP address?

Bind is hosed on my box. I try to reinstall with apt-get, but it can't resolve any domain names. I get the something wicked is going on error message (it worked fine before bind got hosed). Is it possible to list the ftp and http sites in /etc/sources.list by IP address instead of by domain name? Is there a site or page that lists all the standard sources by IP address?

Failing that, does anybody know a way to download and install bind on a Debian system by remote if apt-get can't work? Or any other suggestions?

I do not believe that the Bind installation, as it is on the machine, is salvageable. It needs to be reinstalled.

If all else fails I can use the CDROM installation disk but this is a remote administration situation and that is not especially convenient, so I'm trying to solve this problem over the wire.

Thanks. I also got it elsewhere. What was your source for that information?
