APIC Error When Installing on AMD64


I am trying to install the amd64 version on my gateway laptop but it wont my ethernet drivers for my Gateway 7515 i am trying to do the net install

aand then i tried downloading the cds for the full install and i am getting an APIC CPU0

Error so it wont install any ideas??

Could be a kernel too old problem try the installer from here and see if it helps.

try to enter linux26 at boot instead of just hitting enter

There is no kernel 2.4 installer for amd64.

New Distro

That new distro seems to find my nic card but still not connecting to the servers for yhe net install says i have to configure my dhcp and ip i try to i think i did it right but still wont connect to them

I WANT DEBIAN!!!! lol

Anyone have any other ideas? I am so lost i want debian!!!!!!!
