hi

I'd like to activate IP forwarding under lenny.

which entry in /etc/sysctl.conf is it correct ?
Code:
net.ipv4.conf.default.forwarding=1
or
Code:
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1

It should just be:

net.ipv4.ip_forward=1

The documentation is not very clear, but basically you just look at the structure in /proc/sys - in this case your path in /proc/sys is net/ipv4/ip_forward so to assign a value you use net.ipv4.ip_forward.
