Hi,
I finally installed newest DSL on pentium 133, 16MB 400+200MB box.
Contrary to RedHat 7 (XFree 4) DSL's XFree 3.x PROPERLY configure my Diamond Viper card (SiS chip)!!! Great!
BUT also contrary to RH 7 it didn't properly install my mouse.
It is an ordinary logitech 3-button mouse attached to COM1 port, which was configured in RH7 as following.
protocol "Microsoft"
devide "/dev/mouse"
DSL configured it like:
protocol "imPS/2"
devide "/dev/psaux"
I have tried every possible combination to my knowledge:
for device: psaux, ttyS0, ttyS1, ttyS2, mouse, ca0, ca1
for protocol: Microsoft, Logitech, BusMouse, MouseSystem,
but NO RESULT.
What is the problem behind this?
Also the xsetup.sh tools doesn't configure mouse. Is there any other tool in DSL?
