Does DSL 1.3 support Reiser FS on a HDD Install?
I want to install it on my system to replace Suse (because SuSE is fat bloated and slow) but I am wondering if the HD install is reliable or if i should just keep running it off the cd.
As far as I know it does not support Reiser FS. That being said, I have done a Frugal install and I love it. I really have not had many problems at all with it.
Thank you. May I ask another question (or two): Do you know the link to pcmcia_modules.tar.gz is broken, and do yu know where to find another pcmcia_modules.tar.gz? I asked "Rob" (on another message board) if he would repair the link. (I am trying to boot from 486/33MHz/20MB MEM/700MB HDD with only floppy and PCMCIA-CDROM.)
It (pcmcia_modules.tar.gz) is just a floppy disk full of drivers to help with booting from floppy. I will check back with the DSL site for updates to the link. Thanks.
