can't find dsl2-1b.iso


hi,in this link ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distribu...nsmall/current
i can't find the dsl2-1b.iso. i've tried all the mirror at the damn's small linux website but nothing.how should i proceed ? could u advise me over a good free sofware to burn iso image on cd. thanks a lot for ur help. harys

it's in there.

the newest version is 2.2 btw

k3b is very easy to use for iso. depends on whether you want to use a gui or gnome or kde....

or if ur using windows a easy iso burner is burncdcc by terrabyte

Yes, 2-2b is the latest. But I found earlier versions at some mirror sites by using the link on DSL and when the mirror URL has te version number as part of it, just adjust the URL to the parent directory or specificly to the version you want. Seems to work for some sites at least.

note that 2.2 actually has an older kernel version 2.4.27 as opposed to 2.4.30 (i think) in 2.1.

apparantly it's for maximum hardware compatibilty.

anyway i dont see a great difference between 2.2 and 2.1.
