My birthday presents

So, I turned 29 on 18th Feb 2012. Thought of presenting
myself with the toys I was longing for quite a while.
Nikon D3100 (body only).

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G.

Bajaj Oven Toaster Griller (3 in 1) 28 ltrs.

Owned Canon PowerShot SX210 IS for about two years.
That camera produces horrible outputs in low light.
No wide apertures. Horrible noise at ISO 200.
I was discouraged. Discouraged to the level that I had
totally abandoned...

From a Believer to an Agnostic

So, yes, I was a believer in God and used to think of him as a protector of all. I, as a Hindu, have pictures of our deities at home. I used to touch the deity's feet before leaving home asking him to take care of me and my family members on travel, provide us the intelligence to tackle the life etc.

I still remember that when I used to be alone at home at night with no electricity, I used to keep the deity's picture in my hands as to chase away the imaginary ghosts. While traveling...

The balloon man

Went for dinner at a local market today. It is a very busy market
especially on a Sunday night. While having dinner I watched 5 men
lettings off bunches of balloons in the air.
At first I thought they were some fun loving people who were making
pure merry. Went closer, only to find out that those muscular men
had taken over the balloon man's cycle and were letting off all
the balloons tied to it! I watched the balloon man's plight, he was
a thin man...

Procrastination

Is procrastination a psychological problem or a habit?

I get nervous when I see a huge pile of work lying ahead
of me! I feel the nervousness in my body, my thinking
process slows down. I start finding excuses of postponing
the task. I feel the need to sleep. I start looking out
for the rest of the non-so-important jobs and can't
get them completed too, since at the back of my mind is a
heavy load of the major task which I am yet to start!...
