amd athlon 64 x2 4600+, amd 64 live
nvidia geforce 6150 le
dual tv tuner and remote control - not utilized
hp pocket media drive - empty
9in1 memory card reader
usb & firewire ports
lightscribe dvd burner - lightscribe never tested

OS:
current - mint14
previous - ubuntu 12.10 back to 5.04?, mandrake to mandriva, windows only because no other choice.

so...ignoring title toadily...i stumble blindly blogging...
my intention is to post to my blog category: tech info-personal
post to your Blog gets me here...but how to catagorize it...
finally figured out how to make a catagory...
...edit advanced settings...where ever that is again...
yet scrolling down i see a check box now for what i am looking for...
lets check it now...done

mint14 screensaver crash

whenever pooter goes into screensaver mode it times out and goes to a black screen and eventually crashes
get this on the screen
[21.254193][drm:drm_crtc_helper_set_config] error failed to set mode on [crtc:10]

everything is locked up and need to power down to reboot.
sorry have not been able to find error in logs...where would i look?

...losing my mind...wanted to post this in forums but in a rush and could not find what i needed...
