Run your Slackware 64bit system even better with the latest kernel!

Posted 04-15-2013 at 01:25 PM by exton (Exton's Blog)

I have compiled a very useful (as I think) 64bit kernel for Slackware 12.0 – 14.0 and/or all Slackware derivatives. For example Slax, Zenwalk , SlackEX, Exton|Defender and Exton-Slack. Quite new is that I’ve found a suitable installation program, in which a Grub installation (Grub Legacy) is included. I’ve also added even more support för Atheros and Broadcom wireless cards in version 130415.
