Brian's new toy

After months of dithering, I acted. Bought a Nokia N900, to use more as a mini-computer rather than a smartphone. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't **** this up like I've (maybe) done with the SheevaPlug. I'm finding "swiping" takes a bit of getting used to. Might have to upgrade my fingers. Installed Easy Debian successfully.

Easy Debian's something I've never bothered with on my N900. Let us know how useful you find it once you've played a bit. As I mentioned in a recent post of mine, I'm back in love with my N900 after installing the Community SSU. Also, BlessN900 makes a nice alternative to the stock camera app.

Since Maemo is based on Debian, I don't know whether Easy Debian will offer anything new or more useful. More applications, perhaps? I'll let you know when I've played with it some more. I'd really like someone with more know-how to put ARMedslack on it.
