Question File Managers Hang especially Thunar

hi all

I recently installed Arch over Slackware because I thought I could learn a bit more about linux. And it sure does make you dig!

I have a problem... My file managers are very unresponsive. Especially Thunar. Thunar would be my choice of the 3 that I use. I recently have started setting up samba but its buggy still. problem? also I cannot get my Android or google drive to mount. another problem?

As I am sure a combination of these is the issue... could someone please help me to sort them out? I am a tiny bit newb as far as console goes, but I know enough to get me by.

I totally prefer Arch over my stellar Slackware setup that I had so I am hoping you all will be as supportive here as you hace with Slack. Thanks

Yes file managers hang if there is a defunct mount. Sort out your [remote] mounting problems.
