Please see "man nano" and also "man vi" or "man vim". These really are worthwhile reading passages. The skills YOU'LL develope here will be used on most command line operations in YOUR Linux future. Arch is fun to learn. My suggestions are A) Write down the steps in the tutorial documentation in the CD-ROM, B) Write down the required data of YOUR 1) Hardware and 2) ISP<Username, Password, ISP e-mail, ISP Name, NameServers, Gateway, Metric, MTU, VPI/VCI. Follow the screen questions, and if there are scroll arrows, checkout the bottom half of the page to see the entire page. Important to answer all the questions. Then use nano or vi/vim to edit all the choices. If YOU are satisfied with the page in the editor, save and exit the console back to the installation. Repeat until finished. Each page must be checked before Arch will reboot correctly. It may take a few tries with the editing to feel comfortable; as soon as it feels comfortable, YOU'RE confidence will soar. If YOU appreciate Arch Linux after it is up and running, I recommend Genie OS 0.5 and also Lunar Linux.
